Caballo: Raku Venus Caballo

This is a spin of our former classic caballo collection. It has .3k Gold  and is a special one-of-a-kind piece. Made in our Sacramento Studio, we slip cast the caballo using liquid clay, and then Raku fired this piece-Raku firing is a specila type of firing technique that used to starve the piece of oxygen, which creates a myriad of colors within the glaze. We decided to add gold on the pieces that were cracked during the Raku firing to highlight the beauty of imperfection and acceptance.

This small but mighty piece is perfect collectors item, place it on a shelf, coffee table, it is sure to be a statement piece.
